You also have the use of a smart TV with a sound bar, free wireless internet, free off-street parking, luggage-storage space and barbecue equipment.

Head into Gypsy Rest’s kitchen and one of the first things you might want to avail yourself of before you have even unpacked is the pod coffee maker. There is also an electric kettle if you prefer tea. The cook in your party also has at their command an induction stove, an oven, a fridge and plenty of cookware, plates, bowls and utensils. A dining area outside means you can enjoy your food in the beautiful garden, out on the balcony or, if the weather occasionally turns iffy, you can use the wooden dining table next to the living area, bathed in natural light that comes pouring in through the huge windows.

A high chair and cot are available at this non-smoking property and, subject to a deposit, some dogs are also permitted once everything has been cleared with the owners. They are also happy to assist if you are looking for any particular recommendations on things to see, of which there are many.

With the beach accessible from the secluded property down your own access path, there are plenty of water-based activities available to you, and a boat ramp can be found at the jetty, just two minutes away on foot, where you can fish or go sailing around a protected bay. Twenty minutes away is Sorrel, where you can find cafes, restaurants and shops, as well as a number of Sunday markets. About half an hour in the car is all it takes to reach the Coal River Valley, well known for its wines, and the historic town of Richmond. You are also not far from Eaglehawk Neck, Blundstone Arena and Seven Mile Beach.
