Day 1 - Arrival Launceston & Tamar Valley

Your guide will greet you at midday in Launceston to start your culinary experience of Tasmania. Enjoy an introductory tour of Launceston and visit Cataract Gorge where the South Esk River forces its way through sheer rocky cliffs. Follow this with a beer lover’s tour at Boag’s brewery, where you will unveil the secrets of beer making from one of Tasmania’s oldest and best breweries. Meander through the Tamar Valley wine region before settling in to your accommodation for this evening.

Day 2 - Launceston - Freycinet Peninsula

Today, your journey will take you to the Freycinet Peninsula. On the way, enjoy a range of produce, learn about local truffle farming on this farm tour, try some of Tasmania’s fresh berries and enjoy a delicious lunch with local produce at an award winning winery in the Tamar Valley. Sample some of the local cool climate wines before you continue through the rolling hills of Tasmania’s midlands to the vast East Coast, renowned for its mild climate and beautiful white sandy beaches.

Day 3 - Freycinet National Park

Today, you have ample time to explore the picturesque Freycinet National Park, home to Wineglass Bay – rated one of the world’s top 10 beaches. Take an interpreted walk to the world famous Wineglass Bay lookout for some stunning photo opportunities. Experience
Cape Tourville lighthouse with stunning coastal views, stroll along the pristine Friendly Beaches.

Join the famous Wineglass Bay Cruise along the sparkling blue waters of Wineglass Bay on a spacious 150-seater cruise ship where you will sail along the coastline of Tasmania from Coles Bay to the iconic Wineglass Bay. Enjoy a delicious spread of local cuisine including oysters, meats, salads, and more.

Day 4 - Freycinet Peninsula - Tasman Peninsula

Today, enjoy a scenic drive south along the East Coast. Along the way visit a local distillery and learn about the process of creating this single malt whisky.  Arrive at Tasman Peninsula, where you will visit Port Arthur and hear the story of Tasmania’s famous UNESCO World Heritage listed Convict settlement.

Day 5 - Tasman Peninsula - Richmond - Hobart

Start your day by exploring the fascinating geological features of the Tasman Peninsula, such as Devil’s Kitchen and the Tasman Arch, before trying some fresh local berries. Continue to the award winning Coal River Valley wine region, associated with quaint heritage towns and small, boutique vineyards.

Explore the charming village of Richmond, with historic colonial sandstone architecture. After lunch at a local vineyard, sample some of the region’s best cool climate wines. Complete the day with a visit to Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary, to experience Tasmanian Devils, Wombats, Wallabies, Quolls and other furry Australian animals first hand. Your guide will bid you farewell at Hobart Airport or your accommodation.
