The kitchenette includes a mini bar fridge, a microwave oven that includes a convection oven and grill, a dishwasher, a toaster and sandwich press, a small plug-in frying pan, a coffee-capsule machine with a milk frother along with a supply of capsules, organic tea and herbal teas.

Plenty of natural light comes into the spacious living area, which has a 50-inch television, a DVD player, a small selection of DVDs, and the owners have also provided guests with a yoga mat, some candles, an iron, an ironing board and access to a broadband, wireless internet network. Give them a shout on or after the third day of your stay and they will also replace the towels and linens if you like.

The views of the waves rolling in on the beach right outside can be enjoyed both from inside Saltwater Sunrise and from outside in the garden or on the patio where you can make use of the property’s sun loungers, tables, benches, umbrellas and a QWebber barbecue set. If you choose to book the Luxury Villa, you also have a jacuzzi and there is also a property called the Saltwater Residence, suitable for one couple, separate from the waterfront properties.

A short drive takes you to a wholefoods shop (Purple Possum), and the chance to buy some of the popular sourdough bread from the Summer Kitchen Bakery. Other must-taste foods come from Eureka Berry Farm and the Lifebuoy Cafe and Quail Street Emporium, a little under half an hour from your villa by car, and if you are a keen golfer, there is Scamander Golf Club. While the beach is just fifty metres from your front door, a walk of about ten minutes or so is all it takes to find Henderson Lagoon and the popular Scamander Beach.
