Maximum occupancy varies from two to six, and the beds – combinations of queen, double, single and bunk – have all their linens included so you don’t need to bring your own. Guests may make use of free wireless internet, heating, a microwave, a toaster, tea and coffee-making gadgets and a mini refrigerator. Some cabins also have air-conditioning, a dining setting, a stove top, electric blankets, a patio and an extra bedroom.

Powered sites have grassy areas which are mostly next to flat, gravelled spaces so it is easy to park your caravan or camper. You are welcome to bring a well-behaved dog on a leash, and you may make use of the barbecue area as well as the outdoor furniture. Although Swansea Holiday Park is not a camp site, one tent per motorised vehicle is possible subject to agreement with management.

The facilities for all guests include a coin-operated launderette containing washing machines, dryers and clothes lines, two full kitchens with a lounge that can seat up to thirty, has an espresso machine, a large, flat-screen television and is fully air-conditioned. Here you can relax on one of the many comfortable sofas and, if you are stuck for something to read, there is even a book exchange. Gas-fired barbecues can be found in the barbecue hut, along with a large communal refrigerator.

Swansea is, of course, best known for being a seaside holiday town and the beaches will not disappoint you, whether you are here to swim, surf, go snorkelling or just lie around sunbathing. Restaurants, cafes, bars and gift shops abound, as well as shops for the essentials of your stay, and you are in an area full of hiking and cycling routes. Wine-tasting and gourmet excursions can be booked locally, while other places that reward a look include the East Coast Heritage Museum, Waterloo Point and Artifakt Gallery and Cafe.
