White Sands Estate
The lakeside location is beautiful, and the range of facilities suits everyone from those wanting to get away from it all to families with children to keep entertained, all rounded off with a high standard of accommodation.
A Standard Villa, with two or three bedrooms, has a balcony, a digital television, a fully equipped kitchen, heating and, in some cases, air conditioning. Modern and Deluxe Villas up the ante with features such as DVD players, hair dryers, outdoor furniture, a dishwasher, a coffee plunger and luxury furnishings. All villas are serviced on a weekly basis.
Alternatively there is the six-bedroom Lodge, with a king bed, three queen beds, a double with a single on top and two twin bunks. This has a balcony and veranda, a fully equipped kitchen (including a dishwasher), two bathrooms, toiletries, television and DVD player, hair dryer, luxury furnishings and it is possible to borrow a barbecue set.
Lunch and dinner, as well as a simple relaxing drink, are possible at White Sands Estate’s own BrewHaus Cafe and Bar. The view from the dining area is spectacular, especially as the sun is setting over the lake. Four craft beers are produced on the property, as well as wine from White Sands’ vineyards and their own vodka.
There is a private, secluded beach which makes up part of White Sands Estate, as well as plenty of space for barbecues, a children’s play area, a boat ramp, a full-size tennis court, a basketball court, a cinema, equipment for cricket and football, a games room, an outdoor swimming pool, and there is free wireless internet in the social area.
If you are interested in going a bit further afield, the friendly and helpful staff have prepared itineraries for two to seven nights’ stays, including visits to galleries, craft centres, bush-walking tours, conservation areas, markets and much more.
This Four Mile Creek resort is on the beach, 2.8 mi (4.5 km) from Four Mile Creek Lookout, and within 25 mi (40 km) of Henderson Lagoon and Bicheno Penguin Tours.
Guests at this beach resort will appreciate convenient onsite amenities such as a playground and barbecue grills.
All 29 rooms feature kitchens with refrigerators, ovens, stovetops, and microwaves. Balconies or patios and dining areas are standard, as are flat-screen TVs with digital channels.
The deck was fantastic, the view amazing and the facilities perfect for our 3 kids.
Absolutely wonderful large beachfront unit. Suitable for elderly people being flat easy going walking. The meal served in the restaurant was beautifully prepared and served (we visited Christmas Eve).
The accommodation was great, it was very modern, and had everything you needed.
