The TRC Hotel

The TRC Hotel has its own filling station, where there is also a convenience store so you can stock up on groceries, newspapers, cigarettes and confectionery, plus everything you need for your car. When it comes to alcohol shopping, beer, wine and spirits are on sale at a branch of Liquour Stax, a bottle shop (or off-licence to UK readers) adjacent to the hotel.
As the hotel is right inside Launceston’s Central Business District (CBD), it means you don’t have far to walk if you want to reach many of the other places of interest such as the amazing Cataract Gorge, Brisbane Street Mall, Penny Royal Adventures or one of the sightseeing cruises on the river. A shuttle bus to the airport (LST Launceston) is provided for an additional fee, or you can drive there in about fifteen minutes.
Located in Launceston CBD, this hotel is within a 5-minute walk of Launceston College, Penny Royal Adventures, and Royal Park. Queen Victoria Museum and Brisbane Street Mall are also within 10 minutes.
