Your choice is between a Studio Room, a Premium Apartment or a Loft Penthouse if you really want to push the boat out. Everything at Salamanca Wharf Hotel in terms of your accommodation includes either a King-size or a Queen-size bed with luxury bedding (including doonas with goose down), a kitchen with a toaster, kettle, crockery, utensils, and cutlery, a bar fridge (containing wine, beer, cheese and chocolate!), cable television with in-room movies, an international direct-dial telephone, wireless internet included in the cost, a safe, and a free newspaper. You also have air conditioning and heating, as well as windows you can open if you prefer to get your fresh air that way. Naturally your bathroom facilities are first-rate, with a luxury shower. Some rooms also have a spa tub, a washing machine and a dryer. For those staying in a room that doesn’t, laundry facilities are available. If you need wheelchair access, some of the rooms have been appropriately adapted, but it is recommended that you enquire when you book.
Parking is in a secure underground car park, and if your vehicle is too large for the height requirements, the staff at Salamanca Wharf Hotel are able to provide a limited degree of street parking as well.
When it comes to getting a bite to eat, Salamanca Wharf Cafe provides light snacks, drinks (it is fully licensed) and meals. The menu changes from season to season as most of the ingredients are locally sourced, and the place is open almost all year round. Hobart itself is full of restaurants and other eateries, which can easily be found as the hotel is conveniently located for the Salamanca strip.
Within walking distance you can find Hobart Function and Conference Centre, Salamanca Place and Salamanca Market, and Hobart International Airport is about twenty minutes away by car. Other attractions include Bruny Island Cruises, MONA (Museum of Old and New Art) and less than half an hour’s drive will take you to the beauty of Mount Wellington.
Located in Battery Point, this boutique aparthotel is within a 5-minute walk of Salamanca Place and Salamanca Market. Brooke Street Pier and Parliament House are also within 10 minutes.

Perfect Choice. Spent four nights here in March. Arrived on Friday, giving us immediate access to Friday night festivities on Salamanca Place and the wonderful Salamanca Market on Saturday morning. Lots of good and varied restaurants, bars and cafes nearby. Apartments large, clean, comfortable and well-equipped. Cafe on main floor perfect for breakfast….
Perfect Comfort. I stayed here for business and initially found it hard to find quality accommodation in Hobart. The hotel is simple yet oh, so comfortable. The beds are so luxurious I didn't want to leave it. All the amenities were simple but elegant. I loved my stay at this hotel. After any stays at chain hotels this hotel was a refreshing break. Thank you for a blissful stay!
High end apartments. Stayed in Salamanca wharf hotel for two nights amazing experience top end appliances, beautiful soft bed and amazing coffee without leaving the building!!! Easy walking distance to great restaurants ferry to Mona and Salamanca markets and battery point.
