The way each of the eleven luxury rooms has been decorated is inspired by one of the many Tasmanians whose influence was an inspiration for the Islington Hotel. All have the highest quality of furnishings, many hand made, and a fine collection of antiques and artworks on display. Some have marble bathrooms (with bath and shower), heated floors, and views of the gardens and mountains. All have WiFi and movie-streaming services, coffee and tea-making facilities, with all barista coffee and loose-leaf tea in constant supply, a full cooked breakfast as well as a selection of biscuits, muffins and fruit (the muffins are very popular at this hotel!). There is even an iPad at your disposal. You can make local and mobile phone calls from the room and the hotel has secure, off-street parking. The restaurant really is something else! Exclusively for guests of the Islington Hotel, everything is home-made, even the relish, sourdough bread and cheese.
