Each cabin has a single bedroom with a double bed, a bathroom with a shower and a well furnished sitting area. In colder weather you can warm up in front of a real fire, and the kitchen has more twenty-first-century tech, such as an oven and hobs, a refrigerator and a microwave. A television is also provided, as well as a washing machine and clothes dryer, and Lake Yalleena Cabins have free parking for guests.
While the place is lovely and cosy inside, you’ll enjoy spending most of your time outside, whether it’s making use of the barbecue equipment in the spacious garden or patio, or strolling around the two lakes in the region. Lake Yalleena Cabins are non-smoking but are pet-friendly, so you are welcome to bring your dog with you on condition that you notify the proprietors beforehand.
Located about halfway between Ross and Swansea, you are in a pleasantly quiet location where you can go fishing on Lake Leake, just ten minutes’ walk from the premises. Other places of interest require a short-ish drive, such as Kates Berry Farm for some freshly picked produce, Jubilee Beach and, for some Tasmanian tipple, Spring Vale Wines. The cabins themselves are about two hours’ drive from Hobart International Airport.
Situated on a lake, this cabin is 0.5 mi (0.8 km) from Rawlinna Hill and within 3 mi (5 km) of Wye River Conservation Area and Wye River State Reserve. Snowy River Regional Reserve and Lost Falls Conservation Area are also within 6 mi (10 km).
This smoke-free cabin features laundry facilities, a 24-hour front desk, and a garden. Self parking is free. Other amenities include barbecue grills.
