Cradle Mountain Wilderness Village is located in a secluded setting at the very edge of the World Heritage-listed Cradle Mountain/Lake St Clair National Park. It is just a 5-minute walk to the Visitor Centre and a 10-minute drive to the start of the Overland Track or the Dove Lake walk. Barista made coffee is available from 7:30 am every day of the year, reception opens at 8:30 am. Check-out is no later than 10:00 and and Check-in is no earlier than 2:30 pm.

Our Wilderness Lounge, open 365 days per year, welcomes everyone to indulge in a warm fireplace and enjoy a drink after a long day of hiking or feast their eyes on the majestic view of Cradle Mountain and your favourite drink. The Lounge has a well-stocked DVD collection to take to your room, board games and an area for children to play and is perfect way to cap your day to sit back and relax. Our large 65” TVs provide access to a variety of streaming services to enjoy with your Tasmanian wine or Whisky. Snuggle up in front of our wood fire or pick a quiet corner to wrestle over the chess board.
Hellyers Restaurant, open 365 days per year, offers an excellent dining experience with locally sourced ingredients from regional Tasmania showcasing only the finest of Tasmanian produce. Enjoy the best flavours of Tasmania accompanied with variety of Tasmanian wines, whisky, spirits, and beers from the local region. Bookings are needed for the highly acclaimed restaurant due to its popularity on the mountain and take-away options are also available to enjoy in the Lounge, in your room or at another property if you are just visiting for the food and drink. Cradle Mountain Wilderness Village offers an array of 45 self-contained Chalet accommodation, nestled in a rainforest setting with native wildlife throughout the property. Accommodation styles vary from adults only two person Premium Luxury Spa with its own fire through to 6 person Villas to accommodate the adventurous groups. King and Queen Premium Chalets have two bedrooms for 4 people with a lounge, bathroom, and kitchenette. All Chalets include a well-equipped kitchenette, dining area, lounge area and bathroom. Each is fully insulated with double glazed windows and electric heating. Car parking at the door is provided and EV charging points are available throughout the property. Free Wi-Fi and cable television is available in every Chalet.

Situated in a national park, this hotel is within 2 mi (3 km) of Devils at Cradle, Enchanted Nature Walk, and Enchanted Forest Walk Trailhead. Cradle Mountain Visitor Centre and Cradle Valley Board Walk Trailhead are also within 2 mi (3 km).
