The property has a real fireplace in addition to heating elsewhere in the building, a lot of toiletries and towels for the guests’ use, and the laundry facilities include a washing machine, dryer, iron and ironing board. When it comes to the self-catering aspect of your stay, the kitchen does not disappoint. It has an oven and hob, a microwave, a toaster, a dishwasher, plenty of utensils, plates and cookware, and a toaster. There is also a barbecue set, which is great for entertaining outside in the garden, on the balcony or the patio. Inside there is a dining area with seating for up to twelve, around an extendable dining table.

While smoking indoors (ashtrays are provided in designated areas outside) and the holding of events such as singles, stag or hen parties is not allowed, pets are welcome and so are children. Entertainment comes in the form of a games room with a ping-pong table, a selection of toys, games and books, a smart television with Netflix and also a stereo. There is also an outdoor tennis court, The icing on the cake is free wireless internet. For those concerned about safety, you have a fire extinguisher, a carbon-monoxide detector, a smoke detector and there is exterior lighting so that you can find your way back safely after dark.

The beach is right on your doorstep, and there are four canoes that are at your disposal while you stay (the owners are quite happy to have long-term renters, by the way). If you drive a short distance, there are such places of interest as South Bruny National Park, Grand Vewe Cheeses and Oyster Cove Marina.
