The Wellington Bed and Breakfast makes an ideal base for exploring the World Heritage-listed Brickendon Estate and Woolmers Estate, one of the most historically significant heritage properties in Australia, providing a taste of what life was like in colonial times. Longford town centre, with its shops, pubs and cafes, is not far from the B&B, so you won’t have to traipse miles for provisions, and the area is much loved due to the beautiful Maquarie river as well as the attractive countryside.
Alternatively, how about visiting Tasmanian Glassblowers? They are little more than ten minutes away by car, and not much further afield there is Evandale Market. Also, you can reach Jinglers Creek Vineyard, Cataract Gorge, U-TAS Stadium and Symmons Park Raceway quite easily. The Wellington Bed and Breakfast is just under fifteen minutes’ drive from Launceston Airport.
