The Tickled Trout
Three bedrooms, a bathroom and a central location in Ulverstone make this holiday home a good choice for a group of up to seven, who will enjoy its sunny, warm and quiet character.
In the main and second bedrooms there is a queen bed while in the third you can find a double and single bed. A shower and a hair dryer are in the bathroom, and there are two toilet in the building. The Tickled Trout includes a kitchen that is equipped with an oven, a stove top, a full size fridge, a microwave, an electric kettle, a coffee maker, some dishes, cookware and utensils, and to take the drudgery out of washing up there is a dishwasher.
Reverse-cycle air conditioning and heating, a washing machine, quality linens and towels, electric blankets, a flat-screen LCD television with a DVD player and a selection of films, books and magazines are all part of the experience of staying at The Tickled Trout. Guests’ needs for perfectly ironed T-shirts have not been ignored, with an iron and board among the inventory. There is a port-a-cot and high chair for those with an infant in the party, while for an additional fee, guests may bring a non-shedding dog although please discuss this with the owner beforehand.
Outside you can make use of a large back garden, fully enclosed by a fence. A short walk takes you to the centre of Ulverstone, and in less than twenty minutes you can find Ulverstone Visitor Information Centre, the perfect opportunity for a unique souvenir at Under The Oak Handmade Gallery and Gifts, Shropshire Park and Ulverstone History Museum. A short drive is all it takes to find Devonport Golf Club, Tasmanian Giant Freshwater Lobster Expeditions and DPO Devonport Airport.
Situated in Ulverstone, this cottage is within 1 mi (2 km) of Shropshire Park, Ulverstone Visitor Information Centre, and Ulverstone History Museum. Penguin Undercover Market and Dial Range Forest Reserve are also within 9 mi (15 km). Ulverstone West Station is only a 3-minute walk.
