Pelican Point Sanctuary
This is quite the waterway wonderland, giving you high-quality accommodation on a relaxing, 87-acre property where you near enough to explore and sufficiently far away to forget about the rest of the world, whichever floats your boat.
There are nine homes at Pelican Point Sanctuary, a vacation home very much with golfers in mind. You have a choice of three-star cottages and villas, some with bay views and all with furnished patios. Every property has free internet (wireless), a kitchen complete with fridge, stovetop and microwave, a living room and dining area, and a private bathroom with a shower. Other home comforts include an electric kettle, a hair dryer, premium bedding, all the necessary dishes and utensils for cooking with and a television. Everything is air-conditioned, and disability access includes full accessibility to the room and a roll-in shower. If you are coming with a guide dog, you will be pleased to know that service animals are permitted, as the one exception to the rule against pets.
Pelican Point Sanctuary has its own golf course, and its public areas, like the rooms, have access to wifi. There is free self parking and there are communal laundry facilities on-site. There is also a garden, a picnic area and it is possible to make use of the property’s own barbecue grills, so no need to bring your own.
As you can imagine, it is golf which is the driving force (no pun intended) bringing many of the guests, but that is not all there is to do here. You will find yourself less than two kilometres from Percy Steel Reserve, St Helens Waterfront and St Helens History and Visitor Information Centre. A mere ten kilometres journey is all that is necessary to reach Bay of Fires and Binalong Bay as well.
Situated near the bay, this vacation home is within 1 mi (2 km) of Percy Steel Reserve and St Helens History and Visitor Information Centre. Kirwans Beach and St Helens Mountain Bike Trails are also within 6 mi (10 km).
This smoke-free vacation home features laundry facilities, a garden, and gas grills. Free WiFi in public areas and free self parking are also provided. Other amenities include a picnic area.
All 9 soundproofed homes feature private yards and espresso makers. Comforts include premium bedding and down comforters, and guests will also find conveniences like microwaves and coffee makers. Housekeeping is not available.
Fabulous. We stayed for three nights in a fantastic 2 bedroom spacious pavilion. Well equipped, everything is new, the property is next to the wetlands, had great views, is quiet, plenty of walks to do, ducks, cows and lots of bird life! Just 2km out of beautiful St Helens and close to the mind blowing Bay of Fires, with the best beaches in the world!
The Perfect Place to Relax. Just outside of St. Helens, this was the perfect place to relax, pick up my book and chill. We arrived from Freycient after reception closed but they had ran and check on our arrival time. We booked “Robin” and the keys had been left for us and the heater switched on…amazing because it gets chilly at the end of April. The accommodation is all brand new and modern while still respecting the surrounding. Comfiest bed I’ve slept in in a long time!! We’ve already said we’ll be back to stay on our next Tassie adventure.
