Pebble Shack
Located in the adorable Coles Bay region, this property may look modest from the outside but it is a comfortable, self-contained home from home which would ideally suit any self-catering group of up to four.
Pebble Shack has two bedrooms, with all the bedding provided, and a bathroom that has a shower, toiletries, towels and a hair dryer. In the kitchen you can find a cooker (so you have the use of an oven and four hobs), a refrigerator, an electric kettle, a microwave oven, plenty of items of cookware and eating utensils, and everything you need for making tea and coffee, plus a dishwasher.
The living room has a television with a DVD player, comfortable furniture including a pleasant sofa, and from here you can see some pretty impressive views of the mountain peaks. There is also a wooden dining table with seating for four. Outside there is a furnished patio on the first floor, and the property has a gas-fired barbecue set so you can enjoy a good grill in pleasant surroundings. Parking is free, and your laundry needs are taken care of with a washing machine, an iron and an ironing board. As there is a no-pets rule, you won’t have to worry if any of your guests has a fur allergy.
Staying anywhere in Coles Bay opens up the world of the Freycinet Peninsula, including the Hazards Mountains, Great Oyster Bay and, round the cost, the town of Swansea for exploration. Pebble Shack itself is close to a number of good dining venues as well as shops for everything from stocking up on essentials to picking up souvenirs. For example, Coles Bay Convenience Store and Post Office is just down the road. Naturally there are many excellent beaches in the area, such as Richardsons Beach and Muirs Beach, and you can venture inland at Freycinet National Park Visitor Centre, under twenty minutes’ walk from the cottage.
Situated near the beach, this cottage is within a 5-minute walk of Coles Bay Conservation Area and Coles Bay. Richardsons Beach and Muirs Beach are also within 15 minutes.
Along with laundry facilities, this smoke-free cottage has a garden and barbecue grills. Self parking is free.
