This three-star holiday park is a mere ten-minute drive from Hobart and set in a relaxing parkland setting, where you can enjoy the immaculate gardens, friendly hospitality and the peace and mind of being in a gated venue, whether it’s just the two of you or up to ten in your group.
Cabins, Deluxe and Family, sleep from two to five or you could hire a Holiday Home for up to ten. Cabins have a double bed, with some having additional bunks that are ideally suited to children. Holiday Homes have two queen beds and up to six bunks. Linens and towels are provided, and a shower can be found in your own private bathroom.
Among the home comforts Hobart Cabins and Cottages make available to their guests are a kitchen or kitchenette, a fridge, toaster, stove top, microwave oven, tea and coffee equipment, a dining setting and a bar fridge. The lounge area includes a television, and as well as a clock radio/alarm clock you get a desk, free use of wireless internet, a hair dryer and the non-smoking premises have heating and a veranda so you can sit outside in the glorious Hobart sunshine and watch the world go by.
Some extras depending on your accommodation choice include an actual oven in the kitchen, a DVD player to complement the television, a barbecue set and weekly room service. Cots are available to guests in the Deluxe cabins. The gated site also has coin-operated laundry facilities, barbecue facilities, a games room, a children’s play area and vending machines for when the shops are shut. This is a pet-friendly place, with some of the cabins and cottages suited to your four-legged friends.
As Hobart Cabins and Cottages are on the Metropolitan bus route, it won’t take long to reach the town centre. If you are driving (parking here is free), you are less than ten minutes from the famous MONA (Museum of Old and New Art), Tasmanian Hockey Centre or the Derwent Entertainment Centre. HBA Hobart International Airport is about twenty minutes away, but if you just fancy a stroll, you are just a few minutes from the banks of the River Derwent to the north, with a boat ramp just 600 metres away.
Located in Goodwood, this campground is within 1 mi (2 km) of Royal Hobart Showground, MyState Bank Arena, and Tasmanian Transport Museum. Runnymede and Tasmanian Hockey Centre are also within 3 mi (5 km). Tasmanian Transport Museum Station is 23 minutes by foot.
Laundry facilities, an arcade/game room, and a garden are available at this smoke-free campground. Free WiFi in public areas and free self parking are also provided. Other amenities include barbecue grills.
