A Queen Room at Franklin Manor has a queen-size bed and an ensuite bathroom with a shower. A Manor Room has a large bathroom and a king-size bed. As well as the 14 rooms, Franklin Manor itself has a bar and lounge, offers free self parking, express check-in and check-out, luggage storage, free wireless internet in some of the public areas, and a library. The front desk is staffed between 08:30 and 17:30. Neither pets nor children under 17 are permitted to stay here, and the minimum check-in age is 18.

There are quite a lot of things to do nearby. For example, seaplane tours, river cruises, jet-boat rides, chartered fishing trips, four-wheel-drive adventures and bushwalking are all popular ways to see this part of Tasmania’s west coast. The Botanical Garden Reserve, Hogarth Falls and Strahan Harbour are just fifteen minutes’ walk away, and you are only about three kilometres from Strahan Golf Club. Also in the area are the West Coast Wilderness Railway, a heritage steam railway with a cog-rail system for dealing with the steep mountain climbs, performances of Australia’s longest-running theatrical play (‘The Ship That Never Was’), and even more can be discovered from the staff at Franklin Manor, who will gladly help with any ticket or tour bookings.

Situated in Strahan, this hotel is within a 5-minute walk of Botanical Garden Reserve and Strahan Visitor Centre. Hogarth Falls and West Coast Wilderness Railway are also within 15 minutes.
