New Norfolk Apartments
Combine a high level of comfort with stunning panoramic views in a peaceful location and you have these lovely self-contained studios and apartments, excellent for stopovers or longer stays.
The sleeping area in a studio apartment, with its queen-sized bed, is combined with a living area that has a DVD-equipped television. The bathroom has a walk-in shower and you get a convenient kitchenette with a microwave oven, hotplates, a bar fridge and various handy utensils and extras. A maximum of two people can stay, and you’ll love the view from the furnished covered deck outside!
The other option at New Norfolk Apartments is a two-bedroom apartment, with two queen-size beds, a bunk and the option of having a trundle so that up to seven can stay here. The bathroom has a shower and two hand basins. In the rest of the apartment, not only is there a fully equipped kitchen but there are also laundry facilities, so this can be a good option for families. The furniture in the combined sitting and dining area is lovely and comfortable (and modern too), and you can relax here watching a DVD on the wide-screen television or enjoy the view either through the huge windows or out on the furnished deck. These apartments are a deck higher than the studio ones.
New Norfolk Apartments look out onto an area known locally as the Valley of Love, part of the Derwent Valley with the Derwent River running through it. Only a couple of kilometres away is New Norfolk town centre, the antiques capital of Tasmania, and for those who enjoy the beauty of nature, Mount Field National Park is can be reached in roughly half an hour. This is a good base for exploring the region around Hobart, also not far off, including many historic houses, fishing in the Tyenna River, guided walks, kayaking, abseiling or even an unusual pedal-powered contraption along two kilometres of abandoned railway track at Rail Track Riders.
Located in New Norfolk, this apartment building is 1.1 mi (1.8 km) from Anglican Church of St Matthew and within 3 mi (5 km) of Willow Court Asylum and Betty King’s Grave. Salmon Ponds Heritage Hatchery and Gardens and Stefano Lubiana Wines are also within 12 mi (20 km).
Laundry facilities, a garden, and free self parking are available at this smoke-free apartment building.
Each apartment provides a flat-screen TV with a DVD player, plus a kitchen with a refrigerator, a stovetop, and a microwave. Added amenities include free WiFi, a balcony, and premium bedding. Housekeeping is not available.
