A maximum of five people can stay in this smoke-free property. It has two bedrooms, a bathroom, a large open-plan living space with modern furniture and a garden. Welman Street Cottage has towels, laundry facilities including an iron and ironing board, a hair dryer, and all the necessary bedding. In the kitchen you can make use of an oven, a stove top, a microwave, a wide range of utensils, dishes and cookware, a fridge and a toaster. There is a separate dining area, and the living area has a television with a DVD player, a stereo and a number of games.

The whole property is air-conditioned, provides free internet access and on-site parking, and has a generous 140 square metres of living space.

While Welman Street Cottage is comfortable and in a quiet district, so you may just want to relax on the balcony or in the garden, it is in a good place for Launceston’s attractions. It is, for example, in the Central Business District and less than a kilometre from the Design Centre Tasmania. Not much further is the highly popular Cataract Gorge, Quadrant Mall if you are feeling like a spot of retail therapy, and Princess Theatre. If it is an activity holiday you are interested in, you are not far from surfing, hiking, cycling, scuba diving, sailing, waterskiing and a variety of ecotours.
