The cook in your group won’t have anything to complain about kitchen-wise. There is an oven with hobs, a grill, a toaster, a microwave, a fridge, plenty of utensils, dishes and cookware and a dishwasher to save you the trouble of washing up afterwards. The separate dining area has a child’s highchair, and you will find a selection of toys, including a Wendy house and mini slide, for younger guests as well. Other entertainment comes from the television, with a DVD player and film library, access to satellite and cable channels and a number of games. The no-smoking, pet-free holiday home is particularly spacious, with modern leather sofas and you will find blackout blinds fitted to the windows for that added comfort. Outside there is a four-metre deck area, where you can enjoy amazing views of the mountains in a relatively quiet part of the town.

Launceston has a number of attractions for visitors to the area, and in the Riverside North area, where Riverside Serenity Launceston is located, these include Windsor Park, which leads to the banks of the River Tamar, and Windsor Golf Course. A short drive or bus ride away is Launceston proper, where you can find the amazing Cataract Gorge, with its famous scenic chairlift, Cataract Gorge Cruises (not in the same part of Launceston but further to the east), Zig Zag Reserve, Royal Park and a good number of shops and restaurants.
