At Piermont Retreat your accommodation choices are cottage, suite or studio, many of which can be described as ‘a room with a view’. There are twenty-one rooms in total, and in each one you will have your own coffee and tea maker, plasma television with digital channels and a DVD player, an iPod dock, an ironing board (don’t worry if you forgot to pack the travel iron – there’s an iron as well), and a private bathroom with a shower. A hair dryer is available on request.
The four-star venue has its own private beach, as well as its own restaurant. Called The Homestead Restaurant, it offers a constantly evolving, seasonal menu prepared with locally sourced ingredients by an award-winning chef.
Piermont Retreat is a smoke-free, no-pets, family friendly hotel, with staff who speak English, German and Spanish. You can make use of the hotel’s own barbecue grills when the weather permits, and, for a surcharge, you can have breakfast between seven thirty and nine thirty each morning. In addition to the horse-riding mentioned above, there are hiking and cycling trails on site and nearby there is the option of kayaking. Piermont Retreat is within five kilometres of Spiky Bridge, Glamorgan War Memorial and Kates Berry Farm, as well as the East Coast Heritage Museum and Jubilee Beach.
Situated in Swansea, this beach hotel is steps from Jubilee Beach, Nine Mile Beach, and Kelvedon Beach. Coswell Beach Conservation Area and Cressy Beach Conservation Area are also within 1 mi (2 km).
