Swansea Ocean Villas
Plenty of space and sleeping up to four, with a cosy log fire during the winter, these villas are of a luxury standard and command wonderful views of Great Oyster Bay, as well as being fully equipped with everything from laundry to cooking facilities.
The two bedrooms in each villa contain double or single beds with all bedding provided, a fan and a hair dryer. You have a well-equipped bathroom that includes a shower, an electric heater, towels and toiletries. The living area, with its sofa and armchairs, has a good deal of space and you can enjoy the comfort of the wood-burning stove if you are staying during the colder times of the year. In the kitchen you can make use of a microwave oven, a refrigerator and a generous amount of workspace, as well as a dining table and chairs. As can be expected, there are also the necessary gizmos for making tea and coffee.
Swansea Ocean Villas each have a washing machine, a television, off-street parking and electric heating throughout. There is a balcony from which guests can get a view of Coles Bay and the mountains on the horizon, and free wireless internet is available. A playground is also on site so your children will have somewhere to let off steam, other practical matters such as luggage storage, the availability of an iron and ironing board plus the possibility of connecting rooms are taken care of. The staff at the front desk can even assist with ticket and tour booking in the local area and beyond.
There is a cafe belonging to Swansea Ocean Villas, and it is open from December to the end of April. Whether you are in the mood for espresso coffee or a selection of teas, fresh sandwiches, scones and biscuits, or you are more of a fish-and-chips or hamburger person, they have it covered.
Swansea has a number of secluded beaches scattered around the village, and when it comes to stocking up on supplies there is the Morris General Store in convenient reach of Swansea Ocean Villas. For lovers of good food and drink, Kates Berry Farm and The Bark Tavern and Bakery are worth visiting. The bay itself hosts a number of boat trips, including fishing excursions, and if you take a day trip round to the north-west corner there is the beautiful Freycinet National Park.
With direct access to the beach, this Swansea hotel is just steps from Kelvedon Beach, Nine Mile Beach, and Jubilee Beach. East Coast Heritage Museum and Glamorgan War Memorial are also within 5 minutes.
Guests at this beach hotel will appreciate convenient onsite amenities such as a playground and barbecue grills.

A lovely stay in a very relaxing and comfortable spot. Swansea is a very picturesque place.
Just as lovely as we remembered from our stay five years ago. Maybe we will be back in another five. The only Tas Villa worth staying in. How lovely to be able to drink out good wine from a wine glass for a change.
This is the best Tas Villa of all the Tas villas we’ve stayed in on our short visit to Tasmania. The service & amenities provided are excellent & we’re sorry we stayed for a very short while. Hope to come back some day to beautiful Swansea Tas Villas!
