Whether you stay in a cottage, cabin or your own motorhome, you can enjoy waterfront views, activities for the kids and all the self-catering facilities you can expect from a good holiday park, with Devonport’s attractions a short drive from the site.
Cottage and cabin accommodation includes a bathroom, kitchen, a balcony and a television. Bed linen is provided, and beds range from queen-size to doubles and bunks. Kitchen equipment includes a stove, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a toaster and a kettle, plus various items of cutlery and cookware. You also have an iron and ironing board, and a hair drier is available on request.
Some options include an electric blanket, a separate dining area, a gas log heater, a combined heating and cooling system and there are pet-friendly choices, as well as the possibility of an ocean view. Powered sites are available with or without an en-suite bathroom, and those who use them have access to the same communal facilities as the rest of the holidaymakers. These include the camp kitchen, laundry, dump point, barbecue equipment, activity room (which is also the movie room), camp shop, playground, bouncing pillow (think of a bouncy castle but just the base), and everyone has the use of free wireless internet. Pets are permitted, provided that they are kept on a leash.
Discovery Parks Devonport is about a quarter of an hour’s drive from Coles Beach and Mersey Bluff, while Devonport Regional Gallery and Bass Strait Maritime Centre are a bit closer. It only takes about ten minutes to reach the park from Devonport DPO Airport, and if you are planning a cruise on the Spirit Of Tasmania, it passes close by so this may be an ideal start or finish point.
Located in East Devonport, this beach cabin is within 1 mi (2 km) of East Devonport Beach and Devonport Ferry Terminal. Pardoe Beach and Devonport Regional Gallery are also within 2 mi (3 km).
