There are king, queen and single beds, depending on the room configuration you opt for, which could be a Standard, Deluxe, Family or even Family Deluxe. As well as your own bathroom, with a shower, toiletries and a hair dryer, every room at Undine Colonial Accommodation includes a flat-screen television, free in-house movies, a DVD player, a CD player, a dock for an iPod, an iron and ironing board, an alarm clock and clock radio, as well as wireless internet.
Naturally, all the necessary linens are provided, and as a little bonus there is free port and complimentary chocolates included in your stay. A free complimentary breakfast can be enjoyed in the breakfast room, with the option to upgrade for a small fee to a full home-cooked one. A bathrobe is available on request, and some rooms also include leather furniture, a bath rather than a separate shower, a desk, electric blankets, cots and roll-away beds, a fan and a seating area.
Undine Colonial Accommodation is just two minutes from a bus stop on the Metro Tas or, if you are driving, there is free parking. The billiard room, complete with a very comfortable sofa and also a pinball machine, stays open as late as half past nine in the evening and guests have access to the Undine Hydrotherapy pool also.
If you have never heard of Undine, it’s just to the north of Hobart. You are about five minutes’ drive from attractions such as the excellent Museum of Old and New Art (MONA) and Derwent Entertainment Centre. A little further and you can find Tasmanian Hockey Centre, myriad shopping opportunities, restaurants, bars, parks and the unforgettable Cataract Gorge. Incidentally, you may see this hotel described also as ‘Colonial Accommodation @ Undine’ – same great quality, just a different name.
Located in Rosetta, this luxury bed & breakfast is within 1 mi (2 km) of Moorilla Estate and Museum of Old and New Art. MyState Bank Arena and Tasmanian Transport Museum are also within 2 mi (3 km). Tasmanian Transport Museum Station is 22 minutes by foot.
