For adults only, this charming cottage includes a claw-foot bath, a courtyard with mountain views and a goldfish pond, in a quiet part of Sandy Bay, Hobart, just a few minutes by car from the city centre.
The queen bed has a pillow-top mattress and quality linens, while the bathroom has a claw-foot bath with a rainfall shower head. At Eleven includes bath robes, organic bath products, a hair dryer and a hair iron. A microwave oven, stove top, toaster and fridge can be found in your kitchenette, and a sofa bed allows you to raise the occupancy from two to four.
Practical matters like free parking, a phone charger, an iron, ironing board and gas heating are taken care of, as are entertainment and leisure features such as luxury throws (in case your feet are cold), a television, DVD player, CD player, free wireless internet and a selection of books to read. You can even make use of a couple of bicycles, complete with cycling helmets.
Outside there is a furnished courtyard with lemon trees and a barbecue set. There is a fantastic view of Mount Wellington, and you can also watch the goldfish swimming about in the courtyard pond, which has its own fountain.
The owners of At Eleven leave some fruit juice, a selection of teas, coffee, drinking chocolate and milk, and you are not far from a wide range of shops for when it comes to stocking up on other essentials. The adults-only, non-smoking, pet free holiday home is only a few minutes’ drive from some of Hobart’s biggest attractions such as Salamanca Market, Wrest Point Casino and Brooke Street Pier, less than twenty minutes from HBA Hobart International Airport, and just a few blocks away from the Derwent River, with a local deli, wine shop and grocery store practically round the corner.
