81 On Freycinet
This beautiful stone and red-cedar cottage is large, well equipped and in a location that makes it a must if you want to explore Freycinet and Great Oyster Bay on a self-catering holiday.
With three bedrooms, you can accommodate up to six guests and there is a shower in the bathroom. There are two balconies and downstairs you can find an old-fashioned wood heater which is a nice thing to cosy up around in the evenings. A spiral staircase connects the two floors, and your kitchen has an oven, a stove, a fridge-freezer, a kettle, tea and coffee-making equipment, a microwave oven and a dishwasher, as well as various items of cookware, utensils and dishes.
There is a living room and a dining room at 81 On Freycinet, a flat-screen television complete with a DVD player, air conditioning, heating and laundry facilities (a washing machine and a dryer). The owners have not forgotten to include an iron and an ironing board, so if you are the sort of person whose holiday is not complete without that knife-like crease in their denims, you will not be disappointed.
Outside there is a furnished patio, and the views of the mountains from here, as well as of the bay, are wonderful and all in an area which is quiet and yet convenient for all that the area has to offer.
Coles Bay is the primary attraction near to 81 On Freycinet, just two minutes walk from the property, as is Richardsons Beach. There are plenty of opportunities to explore the peninsula, but on foot or by bike is particularly recommended. For a more detailed list of suggestions, the Freycinet National Park Visitor Centre is under ten minutes away, and if you would like to go for a drive, the whole of the bay is full of surprises. Boat trips allow you to get a glimpse of the whales and dolphins, with some also carrying fishing gear for hire, or you can book a flight for a bird’s-eye-view of this most spectacular part of Tasmania. Restaurants, bars and cafes a-plenty line the coastal road, along with a multitude of opportunities for shopping, whether to stock up on essentials or get hold of a souvenir or two.
Situated near the beach, this cottage is within a 5-minute walk of Coles Bay, Coles Bay Conservation Area, and Richardsons Beach. Freycinet National Park Visitor Centre and Freycinet National Park are also within 10 minutes.
This smoke-free cottage features laundry facilities, barbecue grills, and free self parking.
The cottage has 3 bedrooms and offers a DVD player and a furnished patio. Guests will find a kitchen with a refrigerator, an oven, a stovetop, and a microwave.
