Itinerary
Day 1: Fortescue Bay to Cape Hauy
Begin your adventure at Fortescue Bay, trekking to the breathtaking Cape Hauy. The trail offers panoramic views and a close encounter with Tasmania’s unique flora and fauna. After a day of exploration, unwind at the Three Capes and Tasman Lodge in Port Arthur, where you’ll enjoy a sumptuous dinner and a restful night’s stay.
Day 2: Cape Raoul
After breakfast at the lodge, set out for Cape Raoul, known for its spectacular coastal lookouts and unique geological formations. The day’s moderate walk allows for ample time to absorb the stunning surroundings. Return to the Three Capes and Tasman Lodge for another cozy evening, reflecting on the day’s adventures over dinner.
Day 3: Crescent Bay and Mount Brown
Explore the pristine Crescent Bay and ascend Mount Brown for sweeping views of the peninsula. This day combines beachside beauty with mountaintop vistas. After the day’s journey, relax back at the Three Capes and Tasman Lodge, enjoying the lodge’s amenities and a peaceful night.
Day 4: Wilderness Cruise
Conclude your tour with a thrilling three-hour wilderness cruise, offering a unique perspective of Tasmania’s rugged coastline and marine life. After the cruise, savor a final lunch before your return to Hobart. While there’s no overnight stay on the last day, the memories of the lodge’s comfort and the tour’s scenic beauty will linger.
