Our local driver guide will keep you informed and entertained as we make our ascent up the mountain. At the summit, marvel at the views and enjoy the short guided tour of the Observatory and The Springs lookout walk. Enjoy 30 mins at the summit. On our descent, we arrive at he halfway point – The Springs and enjoy the guided exhibition walk and the short walk to the Western Wilderness Lookout. There is also an opportunity to purchase a hot drink.

Enjoy a brief stop at these historic gardens, set on the banks of the Hobart Rivulet. Wander through the gardens and view the stunning facade of the historic Cascade Brewery and the exterior of the Cascades Female Factory – a one time female prison.

The Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens is home to historic plant collections and significant trees, many dating back to the nineteenth century. Set on a gentle slope offering sweeping views of the Derwent River, these tranquil gardens are a must see. There is also an opportunity to purchase lunch, hot drinks or an icecream as you wander.

Our local driver guide will take you on an orientation tour of Richmond Village and drop you at the entrance to the Historic Richmond Gaol.
