Cradle Mountain Private Charter Service
After departing Launceston, you will first enjoy a short stop in the historic village of Sheffield, the Town of Murals, before continuing on to Cradle Mountain.Cradle Mountain National Park is one of the five national park areas which together form the Tasmanian Wilderness World heritage Area. We continue our journey into the mountains, passing through the forests, plains and highlands, to arrive at Cradle mountain and Dove Lake – the World Heritage Reserve after a 2.5 hour road journey. From there, you have the opportunity to go on one many of Tassie’s great short walks, from 30 minute returns to around 2 hour circuits with amazing mountain and lake views. On the return from Cradle Mountain, we will make a stop at Ashgrove Tasmanian Farm Cheese, where you will have the opportunity to taste some of Tassie’s finest cheese.

We will enjoy a short stop in Sheffield where is the Town of Murals. The Sheffield murals are one of the great success stories of Tasmanian tourism. The project grew slowly but by the late 1980s it was attracting over 120,000 visitors and by 2012 it was estimated that over 220,000 people were coming to the town to see the murals which were being added to every year.
