Triabunna Cabin and Caravan Park

If you are staying in one of the cabins at Triabunna Cabin and Caravan Park, you can go for a family one with queen-size bed and two bunk beds, with an en-suite and two sleeping areas, a large family cabin, similar but with four bunk beds, an executive cabin with two bedrooms, a queen-size bed and two bunk beds, or the superior cabin with a king-size bed and fully wheelchair-accessible.

However, you might be more interested in one of the cottages for that bed-and-breakfast experience, in which case you have a choice between the cottage suite, with a queen-size bedroom and en-suite bathroom, or the studio suite, with a lounge and fireplace downstairs, along with an en-suite bathroom, and a spacious attic room with a massive king-size bed upstairs.

All the above have kitchen facilities, as well as the furnishings necessary for a good self-catering holiday. And of course there are twenty powered sites for those coming with caravans.

Triabunna Cabin and Caravan Park is an entirely non-smoking property, also with no pets permitted. Children are welcome, and the amenities on the site include laundry facilities, television in some of the public areas, wireless internet (for free), luggage storage,

While some of the properties have their own private yards, there is plenty of communal space available for barbecues, picnics and the like. The camp ground is unusually a combination of being rural while at the same time being close to the town centre, so everyone’s a winner here. Local attractions include whale watching, golf, cycling, hiking, and is less than a kilometre from Maria Island Ferry. Do check out Maria Island while you are here. It’s just half an hour away across the water and contains the remains of the Darlington convict settlement of 1825, the only ‘buildings’ on the island. Elsewhere you can marvel at the natural Painted Cliffs, the Fossil Cliffs and find geese, wallabies, wombats, kangaroos and a sanctuary for Tasmanian Devils.
