The thirteen motel rooms, including one that is fully wheelchair-accessible, have a queen or king bed (except for the wheelchair-accessible, which has two king singles), and some have an additional single or optional sofa bed, allowing sleeping space for between two and four. There is a bathroom, with a shower, attached to each room, in which you will find complimentary toiletries and even a shower cap. A fridge, microwave oven and a toaster are accompanied by tea and coffee-making equipment, a telephone, free wireless internet and a television. There are some items of cutlery for your use also. Parking is available, in some cases right outside the door. All of the non-smoking, pet-free. air-conditioned rooms in Shoreline Hotel are on the ground floor, so no lugging your belongings up any flights of stairs.

Shoreline Hotel is a good place for a flutter, with thirty electronic gaming machines in the Gaming Lounge, plus Keno, six sports channels and a designated TAB, and if you are unsure of how any of this works, staff are on hand to show you the ropes. On top of this, the lounge has a self-service beverage and snack counter, and a smokers’ room. The bottle shop and lounge bar also provide a place for a drink, with local and international beers, and additional places to eat include the licensed cafe for lunch and dinner and the relaxing lounge, complete with terrace, serving food from the local area in international dishes. The dining room is a great place to enjoy a more cosy meal, with prime beef and seafood a speciality.
Just twelve minutes’ drive from the airport, Shoreline Hotel is in the Howrah district. Hobart Function and Conference Centre and Salamanca Place are about ten minutes by car, with Bellerive Oval and Blundstone Arena even nearer. As the name implies, the hotel is close to the shore of the River Derwent, with central Hobart itself on the other side to the west.
