Especially if you are driving in Tasmania, Sea la vie is a vacation home that makes an excellent starting point for day trips, or enjoy the view of the sea in peace and comfort.
The three bedrooms at Sea la vie can sleep up to eight, with a combination of queen, double and bunk beds. Rooms are spacious with plenty of natural light coming through the large windows, or you can shut everything out with the blackout blinds instead. There is a ceiling fan and the property is non-smoking, so there won’t be the stale smell of someone else’s tobacco smoke lingering in the air when you arrive. There is a shower in the bathroom and you can also find a hair dryer, free toiletries, a washing machine, an iron, an ironing board and there is a limited housekeeping service available.
Self-catering guests are going to appreciate all the kitchen has to offer, including an oven and hobs, a fridge, a microwave oven, plenty of cookware and utensils, an electric kettle so tea-making won’t be a problem, and for coffee drinkers there is the extra-special treat of an espresso maker. A ceiling fan helps keep the place cool while you sit in the living room, dining area or sitting area but in colder weather there is a cosy fireplace in one corner that you can all gather around. A flat-screen television and DVD player provides entertainment as well, although you will want to make best use of what is outside. A furnished balcony and terrace, as well as a garden, are ideal places to relax and enjoy the view of the beach, which you have direct access to, or cook up a barbecue with the grill equipment provided.
Parking is available for free at Sea la vie, and if you go for a drive in the area you can reach the fascinating Port Arthur Historic Site, the local landmark of Eaglehawk Neck, Fortescue Bay or Port Arthur Lavender Farm in less than an hour. The holiday home itself is just under an hour’s drive from Hobart International Airport.
Offering direct access to the beach, this Murdunna vacation home is 9.8 mi (15.8 km) from Eaglehawk Neck and within 25 mi (40 km) of Port Arthur Lavender Farm and Port Arthur Historic Site. Coal Mines Historic Site is 28.4 mi (45.7 km) away.
