Two bedrooms and two bathrooms, one en-suite with a large spa bath, mean this is ideal for a large family holiday. All the living space is on the first floor, above the garage, which means your parking needs are taken care of and you get a sweeping view of the top of the forest from the large floor-to-ceiling windows in the open-plan, combined lounge and dining area. The king-size and large bunk bed have top-quality bedding and all the linen is provided, as are towels, an iron, ironing board, cot, high chair, washing machine, dishwasher and free wireless internet. Reverse-cycle air conditioning and heating is fitted to the property, and when it comes to entertainment, the main bedroom has its own large-screen television, so does the lounge, you have a DVD player and there is even a Playstation 3!
Self-catering guests will love what they see at Kunzea at Freycinet, with its kitchen equipment including a cooker with oven and hobs, an espresso maker, an electric kettle, a fridge-freezer, numerous items of cookware from pots and pans, through plates and other dishes to cutlery. There is also a microwave oven.
Kunzea at Freycinet is a pet-free, non-smoking property, and does not cater for events such as stag or hen nights. It does, however, provide a great location for a barbecue, with all the equipment there for you to use in the garden, on the terrace or furnished balcony, or in the picnic area.
If you bring a mountain bike you’ll love the trip to Bluestone Bay or White Water Wall, and if you’d like to see what the gulls can, there are sightseeing flights over the peninsula. Afternoon tea at Kate’s Berry Farm or wine tasting at the local wineries is there for those interested in the culinary attractions, and if you really have no idea what to do in one of Tasmania’s most popular tourist draws, head on over to Freycinet National Park Visitor Centre, just ten minutes away by car.
Situated near the beach, this vacation home is steps from Coles Bay Conservation Area and Freycinet Marine Farm. Sandpiper Beach is 2.2 mi (3.5 km) away.
