Hawley House
Lavish rooms and a mixture of old-fashioned style and modern appliances all provide such a high level of comfort, in such beautiful surroundings and with so many activities on offer in the immediate vicinity that you can see why it is so popular as a venue for wedding receptions.
Down-market this is not! Hawley House offers twelve rooms, each individually decorated and with an en-suite bathroom, a television and DVD player, a mini-bar and you have a huge, oversize bed to sleep in, complete with top-quality bedding. There is a mixture of antique furniture and original artworks, and if that were not enough, fresh flowers. A writing desk, a clock radio, an iron and ironing board, electric blankets, a hair dryer and the facilities for making tea and coffee also come with each of the non-smoking rooms, some of which are also pet-friendly so long as you arrange things with the management first.
Every day in the dining room there is a hearty continental breakfast buffet, including home-made jams, bread and muesli, fresh fruit and ground coffee. A cooked breakfast can be ordered on the day for a surcharge.
Up to forty guests can stay at Hawley House at any one time, and it is possible to book the entire premises in one go for weddings or for corporate events. There are meeting rooms and other conference facilities available, as well as luggage storage, assistance with booking tickets and tours, housekeeping, a laundry service and multilingual staff. The gardens are absolutely enormous and a pleasure to explore or simply relax in. There is also a restaurant and bar on site, and guests may avail themselves of free parking and free wireless internet during their stay.
Hawley Beach is right next to Hawley House, and water-based activities on offer include sailing, canoeing, surfing and snorkelling. You are also not far from a golf course, organised explorations of nearby caves, and eco-tours are provided. At least one hiking trail can be reached from the house’s own property, and it is possible to hire a mountain bike from a local firm if you prefer exploring on two wheels instead. Just under twenty minutes away on foot is Aubrey Luck Reserve, while a drive of about three minutes can take you to Shearwater Park.
Located in Hawley Beach, this beachfront hotel is in the historical district and within a 10-minute walk of Hawley Beach Park and Narawntapu National Park. Port Sorell Golf Club and Aubrey Luck Reserve are also within 2 mi (3 km).

We had our wedding here in January and it was sensational... The location is incredibly scenic and provided a beautiful backdrop for our wedding ceremony and photos. The reception space is great for an event and I highly recommend it! Thanks so much for having us!
