No worries as far as doing the laundry is concerned, as there is a washing machine and a dryer. There is also a clothes line, plus an iron and ironing board. Kitchen equipment includes an oven and cooking hobs, a full-size fridge, a microwave oven, an electric kettle for when you feel like a cup of tea, and for coffee drinkers there’s an espresso maker. Naturally you have all the dishes, knives, forks and other cutlery, saucepans and other cookware, and a dishwasher removes washing-up duty from any of the guests.

As you sit in the open-plan sitting area, which combines dining and lounge facilities, you can enjoy spectacular views of the Hazards Mountains across the treetops, through the wall-to-ceiling windows. Alternatively you can go out onto the front deck and enjoy it there with plenty of space for everyone. Back inside there is free wireless internet, a selection of children’s and adults’ books and games, plus a television with a DVD player and a USB connection.

Next to Forest Edge you can find Freycinet National Park, with the Visitor Centre just fifteen minutes’ walk away, and nearby hiking, four-wheel-drive tracks and bike paths are a few of the options for exploring. The town centre is only about ten minutes away on foot, and not much further are Coles Bay, Richardsons Beach and Muirs Beach.

This is a pleasantly quite house, with free parking, a large garden area just perfect for picnicking, so it is ideal whether you are looking for somewhere to stay and relax in self-contained comfort or as a base to explore the Coles Bay and Freycinet region.
