If you were wondering about the pronunciation, it’s ‘byoo – lee’, and it means ‘beautiful place’ in French, which is no exaggeration! As well as the two bedrooms, on with a queen-size bed and the other with two singles, a full, modern kitchen and a well equipped bathroom, up to four guests can enjoy a large living area with floor-to-ceiling windows and marvel at the sight of the rugged terrain of the Freycinet Peninsula.
Electric blankets, towels, linens and even a tea and coffee starter kit are ready and waiting for you. Beaulieu has everything the cook in your group needs, including an oven, stove top, refrigerator, electric kettle and coffee maker. There is also a microwave oven, a good supply of plates, bowls, cutlery and cookware, and to take the strain out of washing up there is also a dishwasher. The bathroom has a shower and a hair dryer as well. Air conditioning and heating are provided, along with an iron and ironing board, and in the unlikely event that you should want to stay in rather than explore the Eden that is Freycinet, your lounge has a television and a DVD player.
The pet-free, non-smoking property has an electric barbecue set out on the veranda, as well as outdoor furniture. You can also park here for free. For exploring, you can pretty much leave the car for the whole of your stay as Freycinet National Park is almost on your doorstep, under ten minutes away on foot. Coles Bay and Richardsons Beach are even nearer – you can get to them in just a couple of minutes. Of course, if you drive to the other side of Great Oyster Bay then there are all the attractions that Swansea has to offer, and Beaulieu is just a little over two hours’ drive from Hobart International Airport.
Situated near the beach, this vacation home is steps from Richardsons Beach, Coles Bay Conservation Area, and Coles Bay. Freycinet National Park Visitor Centre and Freycinet National Park are also within 10 minutes.
