You have a choice of between one and three bedrooms, sleeping between two and four. This is in the form of a queen bed and, in the larger ones, some singles as well. Each apartment has a bath (a claw-foot one in fact), air conditioning, free wireless internet and the use of a car park. The kitchen, lounge, bathroom and toilet are all separate, and guests have free use of laundry equipment during their stay.
Originally built in 1937, Apartments Downtown keep their art-deco style and have additional modern features such as a spa, a dishwasher and heating, so they have the best of the old and the best of the new. A beautiful courtyard is attached to the properties, and there are barbecue facilities. For more conventional cooking, the kitchen has a stove top, microwave oven and full-size fridge-freezer, as well as a supply of cookware, cutlery and crockery.

You are about ten minutes from Burnie Arts & Function Centre, Burnie Regional Museum and Maker’s Workshop Information Centre, while a short drive can take you to Hellyers Distillery and Burnie Golf Club.
