The place is air-conditioned and heated with fans, free wireless internet and free parking, plus the ingredients for a good continental breakfast. The bi-folding doors lead to a furnished patio and a garden.

The owners have also included a espresso coffee maker, a mini-bar, bottled water, an electric kettle, an iron and ironing board, a safe and even a pair of slippers. There is Netflix on the telly, and there are blackout curtains on the windows. As well as bedside lamps, there are a couple of USB-charging sockets, so you’ll never need to be without a full phone battery.

It wouldn’t be Amaré Beachside Luxury without the ‘beachside’ part, and the sandy shore is but a few steps from your door. After a swim, there is an outdoor shower with warm water so you can rinse yourself off without turning blue in the process. There are bicycles available at no extra cost if you book them in advance, and the area has plenty of cycling routes to explore. If you are driving, Sheffield, known as the Town of Murals, Ulverstone, Burnie, Penguin and Devonport are each less than half an hour away. Alternatively, stroll along to a nearby cafe (the owners recommend La Mar Cafe Providore) or pick up a unique souvenir at Under The Oak – handmade gallery and gifts.
