When it comes to luxury bed and breakfast, you can’t go wrong with Blakes Manor, combining a town-centre location with a tranquil garden setting, where you can enjoy living like a king before setting out to explore the attractive Deloraine region.
The selection of suites on offer at Blakes Manor is wide, with sleeping arrangements mostly for between three and six. One property, St. Andrews House, can accommodate up to thirteen people and uniquely has a dog-friendly policy. Beds may vary from the sumptuous antique brass of Blakes Mews Suite, to the combination of quality queen, double and single beds of the Garden Budget Family Suite. Everything is non-smoking so you won’t be coming into a place with the scent of stale tobacco lingering in the air.
You will appreciate the kitchenette or in some cases full kitchen (including an oven), and all guests will find a breakfast hamper with everything they will need for their first morning at Blakes Manor. In addition there is port, local cheese and chocolate for you to enjoy.
Off-street parking, wheelchair accessibility, set-and-forget central heating, spacious rooms and top-quality bathroom furnishings are part of the experience, as well as DVD-equipped televisions and film rental. You can have a loaf of freshly baked bread delivered to your door from the local bakery, and rooms generally have a view either of the mountains or the city. Off-street parking and free wireless internet are available, as are the use of a library, picnic area, garden, children’s play area, barbecue equipment, laundry facilities including ironing equipment, and you can get a massage if you like.
The location in central Deloraine is ideal for explorations to such places as the spectacular Liffey Falls – a forty-minute round trip on foot – or you could drive to the famous Marakoopa Caves where you can see the many limestone stalagmites and stalactites. Beaconsfield Gold Mine and Heritage Centre, Cradle Mountain National Park, Anvers Chocolates, Tasmania Zoo, the labyrinth world of Tasmazia… all make great days out.
Located in the heart of Deloraine, this luxury apartment building is within a 10-minute walk of Deloraine and Districts Folk Museum, Yarns Artwork in Silk, and Great Western Tiers Visitor Centre. St. Marks Church is 0.7 mi (1.1 km) away.

Brilliant ! Wonderful hospitality from Dina and Rhett. Superbly comfortable and a great place to stay for our first night in Tasmania...hard to leave!
Three walks to the river and THREE platypus sightings! MAGIC! Extra touches at Blakes were great too.
A fabulous place! The hosts are wonderfully welcoming! Dina and Rhett's food, attention to detail, and use of antiques accent the historical importance of the experience! A top establishment!!
