There is a spectacular view of the ocean from this modern holiday home, in an optimum place for Freycinet and the Coles Bay region.
The first bedroom at Footprints 2 has a king bed, while the second has two singles that can be combined to create another king bed. This brings the maximum number of guests to four. Two bathrooms are a definite plus, one of which is en-suite to the main bedroom. Outside there is even an extra shower, so you can rinse yourself off after a day at the nearby beach.
It’s certainly a spacious property, with a great deal of natural light pouring in through the huge windows of the main living area. You will probably spend a great deal of your time admiring the awesome views of the coast from here, as Footprints 2 is located just above the treetops. When you can drag yourself back to indoor matters, you have a full kitchen at your disposal, a washing machine, iron and ironing board, heating, air conditioning, off-street parking and even a hair dryer.
The owners of Footprints 2 include towels and linens for guests, and if you go through the sliding doors onto the balcony you will find that they have also included a modern barbecue set. You can wander between the kitchen, the dining table that seats four, the two sofas by the coffee table and flat-screen television and the balcony in fine weather even with both hands full – there are no other doors to open in the process.
Right next to the building is an access path to the beach, putting it just two minutes away on foot. If you wander about twenty minutes further on, there is Sandpiper Beach. Muirs Beach is a five-minute drive from the property, as is Freycinet Marine Farm. As can be expected from a location in the Coles Bay region, there is no shortage of shops, for groceries and for souvenirs, as well as cafes, bars and restaurants. The whole of the Freycinet Peninsula awaits you if you are feeling adventurous, and you can even take to the air for a spectacular bird’s-eye view of the bay.
Situated in Coles Bay, this beach apartment building is steps from Nine Mile Beach, Richardsons Beach, and Coles Bay Conservation Area. Sandpiper Beach and Freycinet Marine Farm are also within 3 mi (5 km).
