Party in the Paddock, Tasmania's premier music and arts festival, is gearing up for its 12th annual celebration from 6th to 9th February 2025 at Quercus Park in Carrick.

From its humble beginnings with local bands and a hay bale stage, Party in the Paddock has blossomed into Tasmania's largest multi-day camping festival. It offers a vibrant mix of live music, art installations, comedy, and immersive experiences, all set against the stunning backdrop of northern Tasmania.

 

The 2025 lineup boasts an impressive array of talent, including:

• Empire of the Sun: Australian electronic music duo known for hits like "Walking on a Dream."
• AURORA: Norwegian singer-songwriter celebrated for her ethereal vocals.
• The Kooks: UK indie rock legends with a string of catchy tunes.

Other notable acts include Amyl & The Sniffers, King Stingray, Angie McMahon, and The Rubens.

Beyond the music, attendees can dive into a plethora of activities such as art installations, live podcasts, drag performances, cabaret, mechanical bull riding competitions, and even meditation and yoga sessions.

Quercus Park is approximately a 15-minute drive from Launceston. For those without personal transport, shuttle services are typically available from Launceston to the festival site. It's advisable to check the festival's official website closer to the event for detailed transportation schedules and options.

• Weather: Tasmanian weather can be unpredictable. Pack layers to stay comfortable during both warm days and cooler evenings.
• Camping: If you're camping, ensure you have all necessary gear, including a sturdy tent, sleeping bag, and camping essentials.
