Shared Hastings Caves, Tahune and Huon Valley Tour

This day adventure takes you deep into the south of Tasmania so you can explore the highlights of this stunning region. We drive through the historic riverside village of Franklin which still honours the traditional craft of building wooden boats. Then it’s time to head to the Far South with a visit and tour of Hastings Caves. After a tasty local lunch at the Kermandie Hotel, we’ll walk amongst the treetops at the Tahune airwalk.

Stop At: Hastings Caves and Thermal Springs, 754 Hastings Caves Rd, Hastings, Tasmania 7109 Australia

Head underground at Hastings Caves with a specialist guide to get the low-down on the dramatic dolomite cave, one of only two of its kind in Australia. Warm up with a dip in the 28-degree swimming pool which is fed by thermal springs.

From water to sky, walk high amongst the treetops at Tahune Adventures. See some of the oldest trees living trees in Australia on the Huon Pine Trail, swing across a river on the swinging bridge, and walk 50 metres above the forest floor on the airwalk.
