This unique epicurean shore excursion is one of its kind! Showcasing the best of the Channel, we’ll share with you some of our favourite places to visit. Our first stop of the day is Grandvewe Cheeses & Hartshorn Distillery, Australia’s only organic sheep cheesery. Enjoy a tasting of their organic and sustainable cheeses while sipping on spirits made from sheep’s whey. ‘Ewe-nique’ to Tasmania, Hartshorn Distillery was the first in the world to make alcoholic spirits using this process. We continue on down the road to Mewstone Wines, a family-owned and operated winery. This stunning estate looks over the D’Entrecasteaux Channel and makes for the perfect setting for wine tastings. Enjoy the views of the channel as we drive to Woodbridge, home to Peppermint Bay Hotel. Peppermint Bay Hotel is well known for its use of local produce and fresh herbs and vegetables straight from its garden. Enjoy the best food the Channel has to offer before we depart for Hobart

Grandvewe Cheese is our first stop of the day, specialising in sheep’s cheese and sustainability it is a truly unique Tasmanian experience. Taste some of their award-winning cheese while looking out over their beautiful farm.

Mewstone Wines is a stunning family run vineyard situated in Flowerpot, on the D’Entrecasteaux Channel. Enjoy a tasting in their cellar door before we depart for lunch.

Situated on the waterfront at Woodbridge, Peppermint Bay Hotel makes for a great stop for lunch. With a seasonal menu, stunning views and fresh, locally sourced food what’s not to love. While you’re waiting for your lunch, stroll through the garden and soak in the views.
