Cradle Mountain Day Tour from Launceston
Departing from Launceston early morning, this full-day coach tour delivers you into the heart of the Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage Area for an unforgettable adventure at Cradle Mountain.
As the road winds through rolling hills and mural-filled town of Sheffield, you’ll arrive at Cradle Mountain-Lake St Clair National Park and spend ample time immersing yourself in its majestic landscapes.
Choose from a gentle lakeside stroll around the serene Dove Lake or opt for a shorter rainforest boardwalk. Keep your eyes open for wombats, pademelons and other wildlife in their natural habitat.
During the day, your expert guide will share stories about the region’s geology, flora and fauna. After a rewarding day of nature and scenery, relax on the return journey to Launceston, arriving back in the early evening.
On your way to Cradle visit the ‘Town of Murals’ Sheffield, and on your return enjoy a stop at Ashgrove Cheese.
