Villa Howden
All rooms at Villa Howden have a coffee machine, a mini-bar, a television and are supplied with toiletries. They are furnished to a luxury standard, with even bathrobes included, and you have the comforts of top-quality bedding, a fan, a shower in your private bathroom (in some cases a bath as well), a hair dryer and a dock for your iPod.
There are cribs available, and you can hire an extra bed as well. As well as a balcony or patio attached to your room, the premises have an indoor, salt-chorinated pool, an open fireplace, a library and an a la carte restaurant. There are meeting rooms and conference space, so Villa Howden could be a great choice for a more extravagant business venue. Just down the road to the east of Villa Howden is the beautiful Peter Murrel Nature Reserve, while North Bay Golf Club is just behind you. Head off in the opposite direction and it won’t take long to find Inverawe Native Gardens, just on the outskirts of the town of Margate. North West Bay is on your doorstep, which is a popular place for boating and canoeing as well as being dotted with small beaches. A short drive can take you to all that Hobart has to offer to the north, or you could head south and take a day trip across on the ferry to Bruny Island.
This family-friendly Hobart inn is located in a provincial park, within 2 mi (3 km) of Peter Murrell Nature Reserve and Inverawe Native Gardens. Kingborough Sports Centre and Mount Nelson Lookout are also within 12 mi (20 km).
