All rooms at Villa Howden have a coffee machine, a mini-bar, a television and are supplied with toiletries. There are meeting rooms and conference space, so Villa Howden could be a great choice for a more extravagant business venue. Luggage storage and daily housekeeping are available, and the multi-lingual staff are more than happy to help out with any tour or ticket bookings you wish to make. There are even sightseeing tours from the air which can be arranged on site. Alternatively, the gardens are a wonderful place to relax in.

Just down the road to the east of Villa Howden is the beautiful Peter Murrel Nature Reserve, while North Bay Golf Club is just behind you. Head off in the opposite direction and it won’t take long to find Inverawe Native Gardens, just on the outskirts of the town of Margate. North West Bay is on your doorstep, which is a popular place for boating and canoeing as well as being dotted with small beaches. A short drive can take you to all that Hobart has to offer to the north, or you could head south and take a day trip across on the ferry to Bruny Island.

This family-friendly Hobart inn is located in a provincial park, within 2 mi (3 km) of Peter Murrell Nature Reserve and Inverawe Native Gardens. Kingborough Sports Centre and Mount Nelson Lookout are also within 12 mi (20 km).
