Bedrooms in Ulverstone River Edge Apartments feature queen, king or double beds, and in one case there is an additional sofa bed in the lounge. While there are variations among the five on offer, they all have heating and air conditioning, a kitchen or kitchenette with tea and coffee-making equipment, a stove top, a microwave, a refrigerator, a barbecue on the deck area as well as an outdoor setting, free wireless internet and a smart television with access to Netflix.
Some of the apartments also include a deep soaking tub in the bathroom, an oven in the kitchen, more than one bedroom and bathroom, a separate lounge area (the sleeping and living arrangements in at least one of the apartments is combined), laundry facilities (apartments without have access to a guest laundry) and a dishwasher.
Ulverstone River Edge Apartments have a no-pets policy, and are welcoming of guests with children, offering the hire of cribs if they are necessary. The owners also have a bicycle-hire service on site, a front desk that is staffed from nine in the morning until seven in the evening, and they offer an express check-in service too.
As well as being just outside Ulverstone, the apartments are roughly equidistant between the towns of Penguin and Devonport, so there are plenty of opportunities for day trips. Less than a quarter of an hour’s walk from where you are staying you can find out more about local attractions at Ulverstone Visitor Information Centre, and about the town itself at Ulverstone History Museum, but if you are looking for a unique souvenir, you can’t go wrong with Under The Oak, where you can see a gallery of handmade items and buy one as a gift. Shropshire Park is also to be recommended, and the apartments themselves are right by the beach.
Located in West Ulverstone, this beachfront apartment building is on the riverwalk and within a 15-minute walk of Shropshire Park, Under The Oak, handmade gallery and gifts, and Ulverstone History Museum. Picnic Point Beach and Ulverstone Visitor Information Centre are also within 1 mi (2 km). Ulverstone West Station is only a 5-minute walk.
