There is reverse-cycle air conditioning and heating, free wireless internet, a television, a clock radio complete with a CD player, laundry facilities (including ironing equipment), all you need for making tea and coffee, a refrigerator and plenty of off-street parking space.
There is a well looked-after garden, and the owners have made barbecue equipment available so you can enjoy a good grill in a beautiful outdoor environment. The front desk is open from seven in the morning until six at night, with some possibilities for later check-in subject to prior arrangement.

In addition to a good selection of shops and some interesting walking routes in the area near Trevallyn House, it only takes a short drive to get to Penny Royal Adventures, Tamar Island Wetlands Centre, Riverside Golf Club and of course Cataract Gorge. There are river cruises if you would like to see the Launceston region from a different angle, and the staff at Trevallyn House are more than happy to help with advice on other places of interest.

Extremely friendly and accommodating host, cooked us a delicious breakfast. Lovely cosy comfortable cottage with spa. Plenty of parking space. Close to town and on the Tamar Valley wine trial. Had large selection of tourist brochures.

We stayed here with our toddler as we had read a number of fantastic and consistent reviews online. It certainly exceeded our expectations the house was beautifully decorated and gardens immaculately maintained. I was surprised that we were offered a cooked breakfast every morning (my husband booked it and I hadn't read the detail - we stayed 3 nights) it was cooked for us fresh when we sat down for breakfast completed with a fruit salad, freshly squeezed juice and tea and coffee. Janie was an amazing host and we would undoubtedly stay here again.
