Here you can find boutique style, self-catering, four-star accommodation not far from the restaurants and cafes of Bicheno town centre, with wonderfully comfortable beds and furnished with everything from insect screens to a DVD player.
The four choices at Tidelines of Bicheno are: Cottage, with a queen-size bed and a sofa, sleeping up to four, Studio, with a queen-size bed, sleeping two, Villa, with a double bed, sleeping two, and Seaview Apartment, with one bed and three sofas, sleeping up to four. All options mean you get a bathroom, shower, bedding, insect screens, heating, kitchen facilities including microwave oven, fridge, crockery and cutlery, tea and coffee making equipment, fridge, and other essentials such as a hair dryer, iron and the necessary board, television with DVD player, laundry machine, electric blanket, and several others depending on accommodation choice.
Tidelines of Bicheno has an accompanying garden and a barbecue grill, and you can get wifi for free in all of the public places (as well as in your room). Self parking is free and so is accommodation for pets (one per room). This is, however, an adults-only venue.
Bicheno has several attractions you may be interested in, including Devils In The Dark and East Coast Natureworld, both places where you can see the famous Tasmanian Devils, a collection of sixty vintage motorbikes at Bicheno’s Motorcycle Museum and Restoration, the huge waterspout at Bicheno Blowhole, or how about taking a trip in a glass-bottom boat and see what lies beneath the surface of the crystal clear waters of the coast of Tasmania?
Situated by the ocean, this apartment building is within a 10-minute walk of Waubs Beach and Bicheno Penguin Tours. Redbill Beach and Whalers Lookout Conservation Area are also within 15 minutes.
Along with laundry facilities, this apartment building has express check-in and a garden. Free WiFi in public areas and free self parking are also provided. Other amenities include barbecue grills.
Each apartment provides a refrigerator and a microwave, plus free WiFi and an LCD TV. A stovetop, an electric kettle, and a hair dryer are among the other amenities available to guests. Housekeeping is not available.
Great place for a getaway. The cottage has a full kitchen, living room area with TV and comfortable (and warm!) bed. A local guide book with town information and suggestions on what to do nearby was a plus. The owners were very lovely and helpful!
Tidelines was an amazing property. Tastefully decorated, comfortable beds, clean and tidy. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils for self catering. We spent 2 nights and would have extended if it wasn't booked the following night. Will definitely return when next in Bicheno. The owners were very friendly and had great advise on all things touristy.
We stayed for 2 days in the Ocean View Suite. It was extremely spacious featuring a large sea view front sunroom lounge, a spacious lounge/ media/dining room, a very large kitchen, bathroom and queen sized bedroom. The owners have equipped this suite very well. All of the furniture and decor features antiques and eclectic inclusions. Opposite Tidelines is the seafront with well maintained walking tracks in both directions, to and away from Bicheno township. Highly recommended!
My husband and I spent 4 nights in the cottage "Charm on Douglas". This was a home away from home..arrived to find the fire set and everything you could need was there. We were so comfortable that we wanted to spend the remaining 4 nights of our Tassie holiday here but Charm was booked. Our hosts Sandy and Steve offered us another of their properties "Seaview Apartment". We were not disappointed. This apartment is right opposite the water with wonderful views and beautifully appointed. Sandy and Steve are great hosts, friendly and helpful. Bicheno is a great little town to visit with lot's to see and do in the area - we hope to return in the future and will definitely stay at Tidelines. Thank you.
