Threetwentyseven – Gravelly Beach, Tamar Valley
Only twenty-five minutes from Launceston, on the Tamar Valley Wine Route, here is an architecturally quirky property for six guests, featuring a full kitchen, internet access, two courtyards and superb home comforts, all with close proximity to the beach.
ThreeTwentySeven has three bedrooms, two with queen beds and one with a pair of singles, all with bed sheets. The house, which looks a little like three Battenberg cakes, receives vast amounts of sunlight through their huge glass fronts, includes a full and modern kitchen with an oven, stove, microwave, refrigerator, various items of cookware and cutlery and a dishwasher.
One of the bathrooms is upstairs, en-suite to the master bedroom while the other is separate. Both include walk-in showers, and your hosts have provided towels, toiletries and a hair dryer. ThreeTwentySeven includes an airy, spacious living area with a flat-screen television with cable channels, modern furniture such as two leather lounge suites, a dining table and chairs, free wireless internet, and while it is not a property suitable for smokers or pets, it is family friendly and a cot is provided for a very young guest.
Air conditioning, heating, laundry equipment, including an iron, a desk that’s the right size for someone to use a laptop on, hangers for clothes, extra pillows, a smoke alarm and free garage parking are additional conveniences and comforts. There is a complimentary supply of tea, coffee and other essentials, and you can purchase a number of snacks and even some Tasmanian wine during your stay (just leave the money in the wine rack at the end of your stay). When you step outside you will find two courtyards at your disposal, with barbecue facilities and picnic furniture.
In the study, there are some brochures which give information on places to visit nearby. As well as the river, which can be reached almost instantly from the property, there is of course the whole wine-producing region of the Tamar Valley. Launceston of course is home to the staggering Cataract Gorge, as well as plenty of restaurants, cafes and shopping venues. Boat cruises take place on the very river opposite your holiday home, and it is well worth taking a look at Seahorse World, Boags Brewery and the National Automobile Museum.
Situated by the ocean, this vacation home is within a 10-minute walk of Native Point Nature Reserve and Stoney Rise Vineyard. Bradys Lookout State Reserve is 1.4 mi (2.3 km) away.
This smoke-free vacation home features a garden.
The vacation home has 3 bedrooms and offers free WiFi and a DVD player. Guests will find a kitchen with a refrigerator, an oven, a stovetop, and a microwave.
