Perfect if you are planning an event like a large barbecue, a retreat or a workshop, you have large-scale catering and entertainment facilities and accommodation as well, all in a pretty setting.
There is a loft-style dorm room with two single beds and also four self-contained spa chalets. The chalets have full kitchens and laundry facilities, and three have sunken floors. Tea, coffee, olive oil and a variety of provisions, from a snack basket to a meal left in the slow cooker can be arranged before your arrival. A spa tub can be found in the actual bedroom, and you will enjoy the spacious lounge area with its comfortable sofa and views of the garden. In the kitchen there is a cooker with an oven and hob, a sink and draining board and plenty of cookware.
Laundry facilities come in the form of a washing machine and a dryer, and Little Norfolk Bay Events and Chalets provide wireless internet, a television and a DVD player. It is worth pointing out that the drinking water is sourced from the local rainfall, so if this is not to your taste the owners suggest that bottled may be an option.
The facilities for entertaining large numbers at Little Norfolk Bay Events and Chalets include a commercial, fully equipped kitchen with crockery for up to fifty people, glassware, plates and platters, outdoor deck furniture, large quantities of fridge and freezer space and of course a coffee grinder and coffee maker.
If you fancy going on a walk along Three Capes Bush walk, it is ten minutes’ drive away, at the main tourist draw, Port Arthur Historic Site. If you’d like to take to the water, Tasman Cruises are also nearby. Then there’s the unique Tazman Devil Unzoo, Eaglehawk Neck and Port Arthur Lavender Farm. If you are coming to Tasmania by plane, HBA Hobart International Airport is just over an hour’s drive.
Situated by the sea, this cottage is 1.3 mi (2.1 km) from Dart Island State Reserve and within 6 mi (10 km) of Eaglehawk Bay State Reserve and Port Arthur Lavender Farm. Long Bay Conservation Area and Pirates Bay Nature Recreation Area are also within 6 mi (10 km).
